The truth is, I’m not sure yet either. But at least we can continue this journey together.
About the Author
I am introverted. I am a twenty-something. I have anxiety and sometimes struggle to accept that. I love food. Mostly I love eating food but I’m getting better at cooking it. I am married to a medical student. I love my dog, even when he eats my cookies. I am from the US but am currently living in Grenada.
I came to Grenada with my husband while he is attending medical school. Grenada is a beautiful island in the Caribbean with delicious chocolate, friendly people, and lots of spices. We will be spending the majority of our time here for the next two years before heading back to the US, where he will finish up medical school. I am currently living the stay-at-home-wife life, which involves lots of cooking, doing dishes, and sweeping up dog hair. Since we’ve been here I have started doing yoga, going to the beach, and trying to meet new people. One of my long-time passions is horseback riding, which I hope to return to someday.
In the meantime, I’m hoping to learn how to live a simpler life. I’m trying to let go of the stresses and expectations present in my life and pursue a more mindful, peaceful, and fulfilling existence.
